The Denver Wolfpack Youth Rugby Club is a northeast Denver youth rugby club founded in 2011. We are sanctioned by Rugby Colorado and USA Rugby to develop and grow the sport of rugby for elementary and middle school players in Colorado. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our focus is on safety, sportsmanship, and the strengthening of youth character by introducing the core values of rugby into a team sports experience that will endure for a lifetime.
Our youngest players (5- to 8-year-olds) play flag rugby on our Coed 8U team. Tackle rugby starts with our 10U players, with modified rules for our Coed 10U, Boys 12U, and Girls 12U teams. Our middle school players play on our Boys 14U (Tier 1 and Tier 2) and Girls 14U (Tier 1 and Tier 2) teams.
We have a fall and a spring/summer season. Our fall season runs from late August to October and our spring/summer season runs from April to late June. Players can join throughout the season.
Practices are held Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 5:30 PM at Fred Thomas Park located on 26th and Quebec. Games are on Saturdays, starting in September for our fall season and in May for our spring/summer season. Games are typically held throughout the Denver metro area, with some spring/summer season games held throughout the Front Range.
The registration tab on the home page has information on joining the club.
